Actually, there is kind of a registry for graduates now, at least for cash. It can be used for graduation, birthdays, whatever: www.mymoneypod.com

» suzrae9 - First Aid kit makes great gift

In response to Diploma and Certificate Plaque Lamintators posted by FredSchall:
A nurse friend gave my daughter a decent quality first aid kit for her dorm room.It came in handy many, many times & she still uses it. However, the giver needs to understand that it's one of those presents appreciated more in retrospect. . .

» josh4 - Book suggestion for High School Grad gift

I might also suggest the book "Getting the Best Out of College", which was written by a prof, dean, and student from Duke. I'm a bit biased, b/c I know one of the authors, but it's a great read and really good stuff in it. Can see more at http://www.gettingthebestoutofcollege.com
