Need some suggestions for study break songs? Here are my students' suggestions for songs that will provide you the music therapy you need to study more effectively.
Study breaks are important because they help you relax so you get back to work and study more effectively. Psychologically, music is one of the best things you can do for stress relief. So pick out some loud, energizing songs to blare in your room and put on your iPod or MP3 player. For suggestions on great study break songs, I went to my local panel of experts-- my students! Here are their eclectic suggestions.
Some general band and musician recommendations from my students: Louis Armstrong, Ray Charles, Def Leppard, A Fashioned Farewell, Guns 'n' Roses, Heaven's Metal, Jack Johnson, Kurt Elling, Chris LeDoux, Kings of Convenience, Last of the Mohicans Soundtrack, Lincoln Park, John Mayer, Metallica, Motley Crue, Pigeon John, Playdough, Posion, Radiohead, Elliot Smith, Stevie Ray Vaughn. I'd love to see your suggestions! Leave them in the discussion below.
