I began teaching business courses as an adjunct faculty member at the Northern Virginia Community College in 1976. Since then I have had teaching stints at the Los Angeles City College, the U S Naval Academy and Strayer University Online (from which I retired in mid-2006).
Nothing pleases an instructor more than to have students who take their schoolwork seriously and who try to do a good job. Contrarily, nothing enrages an instructor more than a student who misses classes, who does not do assignments on time, who does not proofread his/her work or who gives him "attitude" over grades.
